After a psychometric profile test, 50 year old office worker Wong Su Min is deemed as the person her colleagues least want to have lunch with. Back home, Su Min receives an invite to her old school reunion but she is hesitant. To build up her confidence, Su Min unearths her old childhood autograph book and reads through the poems of friendship which prove that she was liked, had friends and in fact, even had a best friend. But this trip through the youthful pages of the autograph book is not without its trappings as the book takes hold of Su Min and forces her to confront unresolved pain in her past.

Timepieces is an adaptation of a short story by Gregory Nalpon from the book ‘The Wayang at Eight Milestones’ edited by Angus Whitehead. It tells the story of Margaret, a kindergarten teacher who receives a sudden death threat, after admonishing a new student for bringing a dog to school. The film is part of Utter 2017, organized by the Singapore Writers Festival.

“At which point do you let go?…” – This is the central question of “Vios”, a short documentary that tracks the last days of a dog suffering from terminal cancer and how its owners struggle with the critical decision: whether or not to euthanise her. Shot over a 6-month period by the owners, Wendy and Ler, this intimate documentary is an unfettered access into the lives of the flmmakers, exposing their deepest vulnerabilities in face of this crisis, which had crushed their fnances and strained their relationship. Through their personal story, Wendy and Ler hope to create more awareness for dogs with cancer in Singapore and around the world.

"Unbroken" traces the story of Guang in modern-day Singapore, struggling with various forms of Dyslexia as a child, in school and in the army. The difficulties he has with fine motor coordination and grasping mathematical and spatial concepts cause him to be the brunt of much ridicule and ostracisation.
His family, together with caring teachers who believe in him, are fortunately his pillars of strength.

The timeline of the film begins in the 60s/70s period and span to the current day Singapore. The family do their preparations and follow the customs that still intact for generations and show the depth of their bonds and values that they shared through simple acts and habits.
