Randy ANG is a filmmaker based in Asia. He directed feature films 1965 (2015) and re:solve (2014).

Ang also makes commercials, corporate narratives and music videos. Some of his client includes United Overseas Bank, Singtel and Temasek.

Trained as a graphic designer and after spending eight years running his own design agency, he made a switch to filmmaking.

He started in films serving as the producer and art director for independent feature Becoming Royston (2007) and the producer & creative director for The Days (2008). Both films have travelled to film festivals in Europe and China.

Ang won the best film at the Cathay Motion Picture Awards in 2013 for his short film Ayam Man. He was named in Monocle Magazine as one of the top Directors / Producers in Singapore.

Ang is an avid video gamer and has an extensive action figure collection that he wishes he has more space for.
