Synopsis

Ten years after an elderly couple takes a special portrait with their absent son who lives overseas, their yearning grows into a habit where long distance phone calls and mundane repetitions are temporary remedies to a complex longing. Their daily routines and conversations reveal them missing but supporting their son. On a parallel tangent, the documentary features candid portrait photography sessions of various families, where kin overseas partake and reconnect with loved ones at home over the webcam.
